Microsoft Teams Gets AI-Powered Meeting Summaries and Real-Time Translation

Microsoft has rolled out a major update to Teams, introducing AI-powered meeting summaries that automatically generate action items and key discussion points after every call.

The update also includes real-time translation supporting over 50 languages, making cross-border collaboration significantly easier for global teams. The feature uses advanced neural machine translation models developed by Microsoft Research.

These new capabilities are available to all Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise subscribers starting today, with free-tier users expected to gain access in the coming weeks.
